It is an instrument that uses a mirror or other optical device to observe distant objects.By using a lens or reflecting the light so that it enters a small hole and is focused into an image, it is then viewed through a magnifying eyepiece. Also known as. The primary function of a telescope is to magnify the angular distance of distant objects, allowing the human eye to see smaller details more clearly. The second function of the telescope is to transmit the light beam collected by the objective lens, which is much thicker than the diameter of the pupil (up to 8 millimeters), into the human eye, allowing the observer to see objects that are normally too dim to be seen.In 1608, a Dutch optician named Hans Scheele accidentally discovered that two lenses could be used to see distant objects, and inspired by this, he invented the first telescope in human history. After more than 400 years of development, telescopes have become increasingly powerful and capable of observing at greater distances. In 1609, Galileo Galilei of Florence, Italy, invented the 40x double-lens telescope, which was the first practical telescope to be used in scientific applications.
